Essential grooming kit for beginners?

I'm starting to help out at my local yard and want to get my own basic grooming kit. What are the essential items I should have?

At minimum, you'll want: a dandy brush, body brush, hoof pick, mane comb, and a curry comb. Most tack shops sell starter kits that include all the basics at a reasonable price.
